Whilst near Cervantes, a trip to the Pinnacles in Nambung National Park is a must. These fascinating formations can be viewed from a car by following the 3.5k one way circuits. Parking bays are provided to further explore the pinnacles by foot. Camping in the park is not allowed but there is a caravan park at Cervantes, about 17k away. There is no drinking water available, so it is advisable to bring your own to allow sufficient time to explore these wonders.
Near Cervantes there are also some whale bones in a park. Be sure to ask at the information centre to locate these huge relics of days gone by -
