12th June 2011 - Honeymoon Pool - 28k West of Collie

One of two camping areas in Wellington National Park, Honeymoon Pool, unfortunately, is not really suitable for caravans or big rigs although we managed to find a couple of sites suitable and big enough to accommodate our motorhome. The access road is gravel with some corrugated areas and there are no sharp corners. The pool and surrounding picnic / camping areas are easily accessible for swimming and canoeing and has gas BBQ’s, septic toilets, a shelter shed with tables and bins. The camping sites are mostly for car based camping but we suggest that you take the time and trouble to have a look at this beautiful location. For caravans and big rigs, suitable camping sites are available at Potters Gorge about 10k from the pool.
