The jasper at Marble Bar, the hottest place in Australia, has astounding colours. The best way to get results is to wet the stones, or if possible, visit during rain, when you get the full effects of the colours. Whilst there, a visit to Chinamans Pool for a cup of coffee is rewarding with an abundance of birdlife. -
